Apart from the allowances made in deference to your menstrual cycle, childbirth and female hormones, there are no differences in Islam for men and women. You do, however, get a few extra duties. You face enormous responsibilities and will need enormous courage and patience. Women are a lot stronger than men in all sorts of ways – men are weak; they are easily tempted by sex and power, and easily corrupted. If they catch a slight cold, they need nursing for a week at least. If you ever get to live with a man, you will most likely bring into your premises a large, surprisingly dirty, irritatingly lazy and possibly noisy and bad-tempered male animal. Dan (ingatlah) ketika Luqman berkata kepada anaknya, di waktu ia memberi pelajaran kepadanya: "Hai anakku, janganlah kamu mempersekutukan Allah, sesungguhnya mempersekutukan (Allah) adalah benar-benar kezaliman yang besar."
And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong
